A while ago i installed the Vista Transformtion Pack and fiddled with a setting, now windowblinds doesn't show up in the display properties and after i tried changing a theme, the borders of windows went to windows classic (not the taskbar though) and if you open something over the border, it leaves a trail. I think the setting i changed in the transformation pack was something to do with themes.

I dunno it's WindowBlinds going wacko....the Vista Transformation pack would have made changes to your system/registry and these are likely to be conflicting with WB. You could run Ccleaner....http://www.ccleaner.com/ ....to remove the residual registry entries after uninstalling, then go into your program files, etc to remove any folders/files left over.....then try rebooting/running WB. If this does not resolve the issue, try uninstalling, reinstalling WB via Stardock Central.

Possibly a Sytem Restore to before installing the transformation pack could help also.

You don't have to edit the registry....once VTP is uninstalled, Ccleaner will safely remove the residual VTP entries which are left behind. All you do is scan for issues and the cleaner will remove them, with an option to backup these removed files, should you need to restore them. I'm not tech savvy and use it all the time to remove redundant reg entries, no problems.
