Litestep won't work on Linux....it is specifically an alternate Windows shell.
It would be just as easy to have Explorer work on Linux...
As for LS uploads...generally they take a while to create....often more complicated than a Windowblinds skin...and so will be fewer and less frequent.
I have 3 or 4 on 'the go' at the moment but they may not even ever see the light of day.....time will tell...
tjesterb ...the problem you're having is that explorer [the shell] is loading when you want to really be using explorer [the file manager].
Firstly make sure you have 'set Litestep as shell' and rebooted....secondly to avoid this 2 shell conflict that sometimes happens...use a third party file manager such as Powerdesk....it's better than explorer anyway.
I can't say I remember how/what I have done not to have this conflict....I can run explorer [file manager] over LS without dramas....so it's possibly just one of 'dem things'...

It's a 'trial'...but not time-limited...
Some systray processes are linked closely to Explorer...and only show reliably within the Explorer shell itself....when you use a different shell they don't always appear as they 'should'.
Good test...try killing LS in Task Manager ...and reloading it again....and note how many systray icons have disappeared...
